Whole life insurance is a permanent life plan that provides coverage throughout your entire life. The premiums tend to cost more than a term plan would, but getting this insurance plan may be beneficial in the long run.

Term-Life Insurance

Term life insurance is a type of life insurance policy that provides short-term death benefit protection for a specified period of time, usually 10–30 years. If the insured person dies during the policy's term, a death benefit is paid to the beneficiary, who can be named by the insured. The benefit can be paid out as a lump sum or as an annuity. The most common type of term policy is a level term policy, where the death benefit amount remains the same throughout the policy's active years.
